Position Overview:

As a Transportation Coordinator based in Gloucester, UK, you will be an integral part of our transport team, supporting operational logistics and ensuring smooth transportation processes. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing operational transportation support for inbound freight movements.
  • Support internal and external transportation requests daily.
  • Collaborate with carriers and manage day-to-day interactions.
  • Support goods-in management activities.
  • Monitor transportation activities and track shipments for timely delivery.
  • Assist in booking and tracking shipments using various transportation modes.
  • Provide transport visibility and tracking updates through reporting.
  • Support with export bookings and intercompany movements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet customer needs.
  • Support other areas of the Transportation Team as required.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
  • Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Interest in logistics management and willingness to learn

Apprenticeship:

Business Administrator Level 3 (24 Months)
