Job Overview

We are seeking an Apprentice Transport Coordinator to join our transport team in Gloucester, UK. As an integral part of our logistics operations, you will support operational logistics and ensure smooth transportation processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing operational transportation support for inbound freight movements.
  • Support internal and external transportation requests daily.
  • Collaborate with carriers and manage day-to-day interactions.
  • Support goods-in management activities.
  • Monitor transportation activities and track shipments for timely delivery.
  • Assist in booking and tracking shipments using various transportation modes.
  • Provide transport visibility and tracking updates through reporting.
  • Support with export bookings and intercompany movements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
