We now have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller to join our established site in North Shields. Internally, we call this role an Operations Coordinator.

**What's the mission?**

The main focus of this role is to ensure effective stock control, goods inwards and product despatch in order to contribute towards Marshalls Landscape Products achieving business objectives successfully. The role will also involve providing cover for Operations planning, with training being provided.

Communication is key in this position, as you will work closely with stakeholders on the status and condition of materials and deliverables, as well as a close working relationship with the factory planner to guarantee production plans achieve customer on-time delivery requirements.

If you have a keen eye for detail and quality is at the heart of what you do, this is a great opportunity for you to grow your skills in a fast paced production environment, gaining valuable experience contributing and challenging production plans and product quality requirements and processes.

**What are the mission-critical skills?**

We are looking for Inventory management and planning experience, preferably gained within a manufacturing setting, as well as an understanding of Supply Chain and MRP system.

You will be a problem solver, who can build relationships with stakeholders whilst looking to identify how stock control, planning and quality can be improved. A logical thinker, you will be proficient in use of computers and MRP Systems and have an analytical and numerical eye.

Above all, a high level of commitment and a willingness to learn will be your key to success in our ever growing, industry leading plc
