We are looking for a talented Junior Designer to join our innovative design team, focusing on fit out projects.
- Good understanding of current trends within the design industry and workplace design
- Ability to demonstrate ability in space planning and concept development
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency with AutoCAD, Sketch Up and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent time management skills
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written

**The role will involve**:

- Take on the day-today running of the design process and reporting to the Senior designer
- Designing floor plans, spatial layouts, furniture plans and schedules
- Creating visuals in the form of mood, concept development and finishes boards
- Be responsible for organising and maintaining the sample library
- Record all meetings in minutes/status report format if necessary
- Record all meetings with client and Senior Designer and preparation of weekly progress reports for the Senior Designer and preparation of weekly progress reports
- Work collaboratively and effectively with other members of the design team to generate accurate, technical, and creative design solutions

We are looking for someone creative, keen, helpful, curious, with an eye for detail, someone who thrives on engaging with people. We are open and willing to explore new ideas, especially if they enhance our approach, so if you feel confident in identifying opportunities and communicating them to a wider audience this might be the role you’ve been holding out for.

This role will be part of our Foundation Programme (early careers programme) within the business, which gives an additional structured training programme, focusing on expanding business, behavioural and technical skills.

**Our Foundation Programme**

The Foundation Programme is our two-year training programme, this role would complete the first year of the programme. It provides a rounded perspective of our business via additional training and mentoring. It is important to get to know us as a business, our people and how we work.

The programme is driven by a structured training curriculum designed to develop business and behavioural skills. The training sessions gives a deeper understanding of how we operate as a business. Additionally, you gain responsibility as part of the team, build your network whilst receiving the necessary developmental support.

**What can I expect?**

You will have a dedicated mentor who will share their knowledge and experiences whilst having reviews with the Early Careers Manager and your mentor every 6 months for the duration of the year.

You will get to learn from some of the most talented, experienced, and well-established people in the industry who have in depth knowledge and commitment to delivering exceptional work for our clients.
