**About the role**

We are recruiting Quality Controllers to assess and monitor stock quality in accordance with agreed tolerances and customer specifications. The postholders will also be required to complete relevant documentation in the agreed timeframe and communicate waste levels to relevant stakeholders. In addition, the postholders will work collaboratively with other departments.

**About you**

You will have a proven track record in quality control. Ability to work flexibly to meet fluctuating business needs. Ability to use your initiative and work effectively as part of a team are also essential for this rewarding role.

**Reporting to**: Quality Control Supervisor

**Hours**: 40 guaranteed minimum hours per week over 5 days, to include at least one day at the weekend, variable working patterns available, will be discussed on the interview stage

**Location**: Orchard Farm, School Road, Salford Priors

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- To assess and monitor stock quality in accordance with agreed tolerances and customer specifications.
- To complete relevant documentation in the agreed timeframe.
- To communicate waste levels to relevant stakeholders.
- To be aware of internal stock management systems and the synergy between the raw materials claim process.
- To maintain current technical knowledge.
- To wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all time.
- To maintain clean areas of work.
- To work collaboratively with other departments
- To comply with all Angus Soft Fruits’ policies and procedures.
- To comply with health and safety legislation.
- To proactively participate in the individual performance management process, achieving SMART targets and continuous personal developments.
- To fully participate in the development and achievement of the Salford Priors Team Vision.
- To undertake any other duty commensurate with the role

There are 3 stages of pay rates depending on capability level

Level 1 (starting Rate)

When only capable to do 1 one of the Quality Assessment e.g. only Intake, only Online or only Positive release

Level 2 (Upper level)

When capable to do 2 e.g. Intake + Online or Online + Positive Release or Intake + Positive release

Level 3 (top level)

When capable to do all 3
