Composite Production Planner

We have an exciting vacancy for a composite Production Planner, working in our busy, motivated team producing some of the industries Halo projects from Formula One to Automotive performance hyper cars.
**Key responsibilities / duties include.**
- To work with the program sales team to develop and instigate the production plans for the workshop departments ensuring the timely manufacturing and progression of components through the workshops.
- To produce accurate weekly schedules for all staff whilst working to deliver the agreed months’ work plans.
- Compile and issue individual staff schedules, working with your supervisors and team leaders to ensure the relevant staff skills are correctly allocated.
- Liaise with Supervisors and Team leaders to establish schedule performance and collate feedback to mitigate and communicate any slippages or deviation from agreed plans.
- To support the Production Manager by the accurate and timely reporting of information together with any necessary escalation of issues that may affect production.
- To maintain the accuracy of the Progress + system (IT system) to ensure that it reflects quoted information or agreed amendments on each component BOM's record.
- To provide accurate reporting on efficiency and effectiveness of achieving expected production times for any components to the Management team.
- To attend meetings to support the planning, forecasting and smooth transit and delivery of the customers’ requirements.
- To liaise with Team Leaders to ensure all schedules or work is completed effectively and within the time allowed.
- Support companies IATF and ISO accreditations by ensuring adherence to defined processes.
- You must have experience of a Planning and scheduling department and the processes involved.
- Excellent IT and computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- You must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with other team members and customers as required.
- Be proactive in identifying and avoiding or mitigating issues ensuring the minimum of disruption.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and to be flexible in the event of changing priorities.
Pay: £32,500.00-£40,000.00 per year
