The role

As a credit controller, you will be responsible for
- Reconciliation of payments against accounts
- Reconciliation of bank account
- Downloading, identifying and reconciling direct debit payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Working to set targets for ledger %’s of outstanding debt in terms of payment days’ outstanding
- General office admin duties as required:
You will
- Be confident using the telephone to chase debt. This is the primary route to resolving outstanding issues and will be a big percentage of your working day / week
- Be a team player who mucks in and works for the good of the group
- Be used to working with Sage accounts or similar
- Have similar experience in dealing with internal and external customers
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office, particularly Excel

What you can expect in return
- A basic salary of £24,500 - £25,000
- Monday to Friday standard office hours working (no weekends)
- Annual company Christmas bonus (not contractual, but has been paid every year for 10+ years)
