Laleham Health & Beauty is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Sampler (Raw Materials) position.

This is a full time, permanent role, working on a rotation shift (Monday-Friday 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00) Monday to Friday.

**The key duties**
- Creating identification labels of the raw materials ensuring that the name, batch number and material code are correct. Guidelines and procedures are available to refer to.
- Ensuring product is sampled and labelled in a timely manner
- Responsible for the control of CSD sheets and update systems accordingly
- Sampling of raw materials involves considerable physical activity such as lifting up to 25K drums & bags. This can be tiring when carried out long periods and needs manual handling skills and experience.
- Daily contact with other departments concerning deliveries and label status of raw materials
- The job holder will handle harmful, toxic & hazardous chemicals such as powders, liquids & solids. Specialised training will be given, and use of PPE is required.
- Accuracy & coordination are required for driving forklift trucks, manoeuvring pallets in the Warehouse
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work, and maintain that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Warehouse Procedures (WHPs) are adhered to at all times
- Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Practise at all times in the warehouse and other accountable areas

**Skills/Experience**
- Educated to GCSE level English, Maths and Science or equivalent
- Having FLT licence (Counterbalance and Reach) would be **essential**
- Working in a similar role within a busy warehouse environment for a minimum of 6 months would be **ideal**
- Accuracy and high level of concentration are needed for this job role
- Physical demand to be able to handle heavy raw materials
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task workload.
- Ability to use computerised information systems
