Key responsibilities include:
- Joining the Technical Service team you will be working on pack copy, calculating nutritionals and advising on any on pack claims for products made at both Kepak Foods sites.
- Liaising with external designers, printers and key stakeholders to ensure all packaging and labelling meets legal/regulatory requirements in the country in which it is being marketed.
- Manage the artwork approval process for your projects.
- Approve raw material specifications used in your project.
- Approval of factory specifications for your project.
- Working with the business to deliver the required working practices, documentation for BRCGS accreditation.
**Requirements**:
- A degree in food technology / food science / nutrition or equivalent is desirable.
- Good knowledge and technical experience in food manufacturing.
- A sound understanding of Food Law & Food Labelling.
- Experience with research & investigation of regulatory questions.
- Experience and knowledge of artwork approval processes is desirable. (Working with discount retailers would be an advantage).
- To confidently be able to liaise with both Designers & Printers and to be able to work cross functionally.
- Experience of BRCGS global standard, HACCP, Internal Auditing and Quality Management systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of an NPD process from concept to launch and enjoys seeing tasks through to the end.
