We are looking for a passionate individual who understands the importance of supporting and facilitating learning through children's interests and at their own pace.
- **Have an HNC in Early Learning & Childcare, an SVQ3 in Social Services (Children and Young People) or an equivalent or higher relevant qualification in childcare or early years practice**:

- **Have a new and full PVG check carried out if they are successful**:

- **Register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting the position if successful**:

- _Provide high quality care and learning at all times_
- _Have knowledge, understanding and experience of working within a curriculum _
- _Have knowledge and understanding of safeguarding & child protection_
- _Have knowledge and understanding of child development_
- _Be able to complete observations and documentation of children's learning and development_
- _Be able to/able to adapt to technology required to meet the job role_
- _Understand and be able to demonstrate best practice in a care setting _
- _Have practical skills for supporting and facilitating play by observing children's interests and developing needs _
- _Be patient, understanding and non judgemental_
- _Have a positive attitude towards work and duties _
- _Be flexible and reliable _
- _Be able to carryout daily housekeeping tasks to maintain a high quality environment_
- _Be able to work as part of a team and demonstrate professionalism_
