Job Description

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young children and their families. As a Support Worker Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes learning and development.

You will work closely with a passionate and motivated team to deliver high-quality practice, using your excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. A relevant qualification, at minimum SCQF level 6, is required, as well as SSSC registration within 3 months of starting the role.

Responsibilities
  • To develop and implement activities that promote learning and development in children.
  • To maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements

A minimum of SCQF level 6 qualification or equivalent experience is essential. The ability to cover shifts and work effectively as part of a team is also required.

What We Offer
  • Salary: £21,813 - £22,785 (dependent on experience).
  • 30 days annual leave plus 7 public holidays, rising to 35 after 5 years continuous service.
  • Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid office/work from home options.
  • Biennial incremental progression until the top of the payscale is reached.
  • Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Up to 6 months full sick pay and 6 months half pay, dependent on length of service.
