Are you ready to step into an exciting opportunity with the UK's largest independent provider of Student Accommodation? Homes for Students is on the lookout for a dynamic and skilled Payroll Coordinator to join our team Your working hours would be 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, and the role is based in our newly renovated Central Service office in Fazakerley.

As the Payroll Coordinator, you'll work closely with our Payroll and Reward Manager and the wider People Team to ensure our colleagues are paid accurately and on time. Your attention to detail and excellent numerical skills will be key in processing monthly payrolls and handling Real Time Information (RTI) submissions to HMRC. You'll be the go-to person for payroll queries, delivering outstanding customer service to our colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end processing of monthly payrolls and reconciliations, including statutory and contractual payments.
- Support colleagues with payroll inquiries, providing first-line assistance.
- Collaborate with the Payroll and Reward Manager in internal and external audits, and produce monthly reports for stakeholders.
- Take part in continuous process reviews and suggest improvements where applicable.
- Undertake general administrative tasks and foster positive relationships with all stakeholders.

Core Competencies:

- Ideally you will have at least 1 year of payroll experience under your belt.
- Your attention to detail and numerical skills are exceptional.
- You're a master of organisation and time management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel is a strength you possess.
- Familiarity with benefits and pension administration would be advantageous.
- Customer service is second nature to you, and you excel in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
