Information Governance Officer

The post holder will support the Head of Information Governance in the promotion of good practice in relation to Information Governance processes and procedures.
The post holder will support the delivery of the Trust compliance with Access to Health Records requests; as well as delivering operational requirements you will act as a point of expertise and advice in relation to this work stream, providing advice and responding accordingly.
The post holder will support the delivery of the Information Governance Toolkit and associated evidence/work streams ensuring evidence is contemporaneous and accessible for submission.
The post holder will support the development of associated Information Governance policies and procedures ensuring that their content reflects statutory, mandatory and legal frameworks.
The post holder will contribute to and support the provision of training and monitoring across the Information Governance agenda.
