In this Merchandising Admin Assistant position, you will be joining a large online sports retailer. **Job description - Merchandising Admin Assistant**
In this Merchandising Admin Assistant position, you will be joining the Merchandising team, to ensure stock is managed effectively and launched online to deliver the sales plan. You will support the team on all processes for development and creation of the assortment based on brand strategy, customer trends, and analysis of past launch performances.
You will be using Excel on a daily basis, as well as supporting the buyers in product selection and sourcing all assets from the brand. You'll need to be comfortable dealing with data, as you'll be reporting on key industry trends and new products, as well as making suggestions for improvements.
**Key responsibilities - Merchandising Admin Assistant**
- In this Merchandising Admin Assistant role, your responsibilities will include:_
- Managing the day-to-day product launches
- Merchandising of products and sale events (from stock list to website) ensuring an immaculate member experience
- Managing your portfolio of purchase orders for your sale events, using our ERP systems, and taking steps to ensure timely delivery to our warehouse
- Reconciling PO’s against deliveries and invoices
- Resolving issues raised by our customer service team related to merchandising
- Replying to queries from suppliers and colleagues in a timely and effective manner
**Job requirements - Merchandising Admin Assistant**
- A university degree achieving a 2.2 or above
- Proficient with Excel and able to produce reports and analyse data is a must
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability
- Excellent work ethic and can-do attitude
- Interest and awareness of the wide retail industry
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-task
- Previous experience in merchandising is a bonus
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and meticulous attention to detail
