This role is a 12-month FTC to cover Maternity Leave.

The Events and Compliance Executive is responsible for supporting the Vision Care Business Unit in the delivery of Professional Education, Marketing Events and Customer strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the inception, development and activation of events and activities by performing an administrative and project support function to the business, to ensure that all professional education events and activities are delivered and recorded compliantly.

In this role, a typical day will involve:

- Planning events (e.g., identifying/negotiating price for event space, determining event agendas, coordinating event marketing, etc.)
- Setting up exhibition space and displaying promotional materials (e.g., brochures, product samples/demonstrations, coupons, branded merchandise, etc.)
- Coordinating event catering, entertainment, and company speakers/representation at booths, demonstrations
- Managing event budgets to ensure alignment with overall A&P budget
- Creating and managing professional education events through the digital Cvent portal
- Analysis of event attendance and subsequent impact on customer fitting behaviour
- Work with both Marketing and Key Accounts teams to ensure all Alcon and third-party events are delivered compliantly with all relevant documentation archived
- Partnering with the compliance team to lead monitoring process for previous and upcoming events and activities
- Championing the correct and timely archiving of contracts through cross functional team collaboration
- Onboarding of new suppliers
- Manage the onboarding of externally contracted eye care professionals through the ALEX contracting platform

What you’ll bring to Alcon:

- Experience of managing projects and events
- Experience working within a marketing environment, and knowledge of marketing principles is desired but not essential.
