As we venture into an exciting new period of growth, we’re looking for a confident and clear-thinking Content Lead to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract to help us to tell our story compellingly to our existing customer whilst also seeking out a new customer, ultimately ensuring Neptune is recognised as the UKs market leading interiors business.

As creator and curator of all Neptune messaging and storytelling, you’ll drive and develop how the brand is viewed across all customer touch points. Overseeing the production of content across all marketing communications and channels, you will bring the brand to life through seasonal campaigns, product, and lifestyle stories as well as underpinning everything with “Why Neptune”. Engaging, share-worthy content will inspire, interest, excite and intrigue our current customers as well as attracting the new.

**Being the person who lives, breathes and expounds our brand and its values through inspirational content you’ll be accountable for**:

- Ensuring brand messaging is consistent throughout all content and comms, both digitally and in print.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify, develop and elevate ideas to deliver engaging, customer-centric content, supporting brand and marketing initiatives and product and seasonal launches
- Developing and managing the annual content budget and commission and oversee the work of freelance resources as required
- Reviewing all sources of product, brand, customer, competitor and market information in order to deliver truly relevant and differentiated content, ensuring Neptune remains at the forefront
- Working closely with the Copywriting team and Art Director to ensure all messaging and content aligns with the visual aesthetic across all imagery and video.

We are looking for someone really special; someone that has exceptional communication skills, an adapt ability to write and edit across a number of disciplines and formats and sound understanding of content production lifecycles including copy, photography and video. You’ll bring solid experience in a similar role and a naturally intuitive understanding of luxury brands, ideally homeware, and their customers.

We’re looking for someone with leadership experience and the ability to establish excellent working relationships and demonstratable influencing skills. This is a key role and one where you’ll make an impact quickly, so it’s essential that you are passionate about the creation of content, the research and rigour that supports it, and the audiences that drive and engage with it.
