**Programme Specialist** required by a leading international membership organisation to administer and develop key knowledge programmes. The post holder will manage projects and programmes from inception to completion, using a project-managementmethodology which enables smooth reporting to the organisation’s Project Management Office (PMO). The Programme Specialist collaborates with various professionals, infrastructure specialists and Project Groups from the organisation’s large Knowledge Networks,Community Advisory Boards, as well as external partners and stakeholders, ensuring that the relevant expertise supports and contributes to their activity.
This is a **12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT (MATERNITY COVER),** working full time hours - **salary £38,000 pro rata plus benefits** - interviews will be in mid to late March 2023 - office based in central London (hybrid working, both home and office based role).
Overview and purpose of role:

- To own the relationship with senior members and stakeholders across the projects and programmes worked on, including relationships with prospective and current funders for some programmes.
- Lead on operational, project management and secretariat support for programmes as required. Engage with senior members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication about and within the programmes.
- Act as operational coordinator for programmes, scheduling and providing secretariat for regular stakeholder meetings, managing project plans, highlight reports and risk registers, and chasing progress with stakeholders.

Duties include:

- Maintenance of online shared file space
- Management of social media platforms for stakeholders and others, e.g. LinkedIn, whether this is through liaising with comms or self-managed
- Upkeep of project management documentation, e.g. Gantt charts, project plans, scoping documents, risk registers, and information on what activity is being undertaken/is required in each workstream
- Coordination with other ICE groups: Knowledge Networks, Community Advisory Boards, other related programmes
- Organisation of communications for the programme, in partnership with the Comms team. To include organisation of appearances of programme stakeholders at industry events.
- Capture key outputs which will form a specialist programme in a variety of formats including blogs, reports, newsletters and events.
- Maintenance of ICE website pages via liaison with the web team
- Maintenance of a dedicated inbox and newsletter for programmes as required
- Coordination of funding and administration for programmes as required
- Organisation of any programme-specific events

Key requirements:

- Ability to successfully manage projects and oversee multiple projects across a programme
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative research skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to capture process improvements and lessons learned for use by the wider organisation and future projects
- Knowledge of how to structure content effectively on the web and an understanding of
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including MS Project and collaboration tools such as MS Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience of business case and proposal writing and presentation.
