Programme Manager

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join an important organisation with a worthwhile cause.

Position: Programme Manager

Location: London - Flexible/hybrid

Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week)

Contract: Permanent

**Salary**: £35,900 per annum

About the role:
RE:SET is an online toolkit to support primary, secondary and specialist schools to explore, adapt and reset their existing relationships in education across the whole school. It supports schools to promote healthy, equal, respectful relationships and become Healthy Relationships Champion Schools.

The Programme Manager (RE:SET) plays a leading role in this process by overseeing the delivery and evaluation of a programme of activities in each school which engages senior leadership, teachers, staff, pupils, parents/carers and the community surrounding the school.

You will be a core member of the wider team, linking RE:SET with the organisation's wider education programme across London and nationally. Alongside two Project Coordinators and four Mentors, you will play a central role in ensuring teachers are equipped to support children and young people to feel valued, heard and supported in their education, to cultivate healthy relationships and to manage the trials and tribulations of life, for life.

Key responsibilities will include:
*Managing the development and delivery of RE:SET within the INS programme, as well as nationally and in specialist & out of school settings.
*Expanding the organisation's network by establishing new contacts with Local Authority specialists, Domestic Abuse Coordinators, Personal Social Health Education coordinators, and Relationship Education coordinators.
*Working with the Research & Impact Manager, managing the monitoring and evaluation of all RE:SET programmes to demonstrate their impact, identify gaps in provision and ensure consistently high-quality delivery of programmes.
*Working with the Head of Curriculum and Growth and the Communications Coordinator and other managers to ensure the consistent tone and positioning of the organisation in the implementation of marketing of all projects.
*Building wide-ranging and positive relationships with settings, funders, partner organisations, and external agencies to ensure that programme elements are relevant, and accessible to, a wide range of beneficiaries.
*Liaising with workshop leaders, Mentors, and school Project Delivery Teams (PDTs) to ensure the effective ongoing completion of RE:SET's delivery components.
*Logging, tracking, and updating project management documentation (including project booking, securing contracts, and carrying out risk assessments) to facilitate transparency of decision-making and accuracy of reporting.
*Working with the Research & Impact Manager, developing and following monitoring and evaluation procedures to ensure the results of projects are recorded accurately and in a timely manner using specified systems, including Salesforce and SharePoint.

Key skills of the Programme Manager include:
*Knowledge of the violence against women and girls (VAWG) sector and current and developing policy and practice in preventing VAWG
*Proficiency in office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
*Experience of programme management, ideally within an educational context
*Experience of building and maintaining successful relationships with a diverse range of partners across public, and third sectors
*Experience of responding to and managing stakeholder expectations, tailoring approach to the needs of the stakeholder and creatively problem solving
*Ability to coordinate complex projects involving a range of internal and external stakeholders
*Demonstrable commitment to safeguarding and equal opportunities.

About the organisation:
The employer is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Their programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and "rehearse" for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script work, role-play, and creative media such as films and art. They enable young people to explore their choices, rights and expectations in relationships and recognise the early warning signs of abuse.
