**Programme Manager**
**Overview**:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client who is a global brand providing digital and data driven solutions across various sectors. We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead a large scale IT platform build. Our client have a flexibleapproach to home working but will require 3 days per week in the London HQ.
**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Plan and design the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action
- Define the programme's governance arrangements
- Ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programme - focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the programme, and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programmes and corporate,technical and specialist standards
- Managing the programme's budget on behalf of the Sponsor, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the programme progresses
- Facilitating the appointment of individuals to project teams
- Managing third parties and ensuring quality of delivery
- Managing communications with all stakeholders
- Managing risks to the programme's successful outcome
- Reporting the progress of the programme at regular intervals to the stakeholders

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Proven large IT programme delivery experience
- Ability to assess feasibility and cost benefit of solutions as part of the overall development process
- Experience in working with members/clients in order to understand requirements to create solutions via people, processes and technology in a time sensitive environment
- Experienced in a supply chain environment, software or information management
- Experience of leading and working in project teams
- Experience in helping to drive and implement business change to improve business' efficiency and effectiveness to better serve the needs of customers
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes
- Good understanding of the procurement process including negotiation with third parties

**Contract Details**:

- £650 per day
- Outside IR35
- 12 month contract (possibility of extension)
- Hybrid working - 3 days per week in London
