**Project Coordinator / Report Writer - Job Description**

Kids Operating Room is seeking to hire a project coordinator who will assist our design team and fundraisers in scoping out new projects. This task involves organising and participating in stakeholder meetings, coordinating dimensional and photographic surveys, obtaining renovation quotations, monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets and ensuring that project details are gained, and project reports completed in a timely manner.

You will work closely with our Project Co-ordinator based in our Nairobi office and opportunities to visit the Nairobi office and visit hospitals in Africa will be given.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**
- Compile reports on potential hospitals outlining existing conditions and working with Kids OR engineers and design team to present costed proposals for fundraising teams and operations team
- Work with Nairobi PC as a liaison between hospitals and global operations / fundraising teams
- Coordinate remote dimensional and photographic surveys of potential partner hospitals
- Work with hospitals / local contractors to get quotes for renovations
- Organising, attending, presenting and participating in stakeholder meetings

**Person Specification**

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Exceptional report writing skills essential
- Previous experience with project management essential
- Good presentation skills essential
- Experience with building quotations and renovations desired
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (or equivalent experience)
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience

- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Exceptional verbal skills
- Exceptional written skills
- Exceptional presentation skills
