Reports to: Service Support Manager - Julie Hughes

Responsible for: Accounts, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control.

Service department enquiries, quotations and admin.

Assisting SSM in day to day running of the service department.

1. All aspects of Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Stocks and general accounting.

2. To actively assist in fulfilling project requirements (jobs from beginning to end as allocated).

2. Reception Duties - Good Telephone Manner, taking messages

3. Matching Purchase invoices with Purchase orders, post to sage and balance supplier statements

4. Arrange payments for suppliers

5. Calculate sales invoices, compile invoices in sage, send various paperwork with the invoice to customers

7. Post, and attached all receipts for expenses, balance on sage

8. Balance Bank statements daily into sage

9. Collect Timesheets monthly and post in excel to go to head office for wages.

10. Calculating proft and losses on jobs

11. Check all nominal codes have been posted correctly at the end of the month

12. Ordering stock for workshop and office from various suppliers

13. Assist with Service Department with issuing quotations, compiling job paperwork

14. Review all ongoing jobs and outstanding enquiries

15. Compile Risk Assessments and Method Statements relevant to each Job

16. Arrange for Service Reports to be completed, compiled, and presented to the Service Support Manager.

17. To liaise with classification society surveyors and customers, resolving any ongoing job related issues that may arise on assigned jobs.

19. To attend weekly update meetings

20. To carry out any related task, responsibility or assignment upon request.

Normal hours of work are 37 per week. In practice, the job holder works additional hours as necessary in order to satisfactorily complete the job role.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
