Sales Ledger Clerk, Finance Team

**About the role**
We are looking to recruit a highly organised and diligent individual to join our talented Finance Team as a Sales Ledger Clerk based in our Nottingham head office. As a Sales Ledger Clerk you will support the billing of Sygnature Discovery's customers and subsequent management of debtor balances. You will follow and encouraging existing best practice with a focus on continuous process improvement.
**Main duties and responsibilities include**:
- Raising of customer invoices in the Oracle NetSuite ERP system.
- Reviewing invoice batches for accuracy before approving distribution to customers.
- Management of the debtors ledger including oversight of credit control and debtor reporting to internal business stakeholders.
- Supporting junior members of the team in their development of sales ledger knowledge and skills.
**Key requirements**:
- You’ll need a minimum of a grade 5 (or grade C) at GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English.
- We're looking for someone with some experience, so you'll need to have gained experience in a similar sales ledger focussed role.
- Experience using NetSuite or another ERP system would be highly desirable.
- You'll have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- You'll have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
