Patient Information Project Officer

Good quality Patient Information is fundamental to effective, patient-centred, quality care. Our patients are partners in their care, and the provision of high-quality Patient Information helps and empowers patients to self-manage their conditions as appropriate, have a better understanding of their health or illness, and to make informed choices and decisions regarding their treatment.
The post holder will support staff in the development of new, and the review of existing, patient and carer information, helping to ensure quality, consistency and a corporate identity for NHS Lothian patient and carer information leaflets.
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent administrative and Microsoft Office skills, good attention to detail, and who is confident communicating with staff at all levels, to join our small team.
You will be educated to HNC/SVQ III in secretarial/ business administration or have equivalent experience.
The post is full-time, working 37.5 hrs a week from Monday-Friday, although flexible working may be considered. We are currently operating a hybrid working arrangement.
