**Main responsibilities - Project Management**:

- Support different teams within the Programmes department with day-to-day project Management
- Support in the project monitoring of the reports and identify any key risks to the project
- Supervise and provide necessary guidance to field officers for the smooth implementation of the project activities
- Ensuring project management is well documented with the Project Management System (P3)
- Support Programmes team in Programme set up processes such as Needs Assessment and Project Briefings

**Main Responsibilities - Reporting**:

- Collect project documentation from overseas partners, from project reports to Financial Reports
- Ensure Feedback reports are collated and shared with relevant stakeholders
- To demonstrate Muslim Hands’ values and ethics in own working practices, approach and conduct
- To undertake any reasonable responsibilities as required by Line Manager
- To promote and adhere to all Muslim Hands Policies, Procedures and Professional Practices

**Person Specification - Essential**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field or relevant work experience (Development Studies, Education, Social Work, Community Based Development, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)
- Strong coordination and negotiation/communication skills
- Be effective in a fast-paced environment, especially within humanitarian emergency contexts
- Excellent oral and written English

**Person Specification - Desirable**:

- Experience working within INGOs or the Charity sector
- Knowledge of the following languages: French, Arabic or Urdu
- Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills, enjoying building and maintaining a wide range of relationships
- Previous experience in administrative skills such as: Maintaining records, scheduling appointments

**General Responsibilities**:

- To undertake all tasks and duties in an effective, efficient, transparent and wholly accountable manner
- To demonstrate Muslim Hands’ values and ethics in own working practices, approach and conduct
- To support fundraising activities from time to time, including committing to partake in approximately five live TV Appeals during our peak periods
- To undertake any reasonable responsibilities as required by your Line Manager
- To promote and adhere to all Muslim Hands policies, procedures and professional practices
- NB: This job description is illustrative and non-exhaustive in scope. The post-holder may be required to undertake any reasonable tasks as and when required by Line Manager from time to time, to reflect the changing needs of the organisation.

**Other Requirements**:

- Must be able to demonstrate current eligibility to work within the United Kingdom
- Must be able to provide a valid DBS certificate (issued within the last year) when requested by Muslim Hands; OR Undertake to provide full cooperation for Muslim Hands to perform a DBS Check at the required level appropriate for this / similar role
