**Supply Chain Manager £50k to £65k**

This is a development role, ideal for a supply chain manager or supply chain professional looking to take that next step into a Head of Supply Chain role. You will need a good working knowledge of sourcing and distributing electronics and printed circuitboards.

**Overview of Supply Chain Manager role**:
A relatively new business in its 6th year of trading, this is a revolutionary product designed to make people lives better and reduce our footprint on the world. This is an exciting business going through significant growth that would see your career takeoff.

The business mass markets several products in the UK and overseas, with a goal to provide a clear path to transition from fossil fuel heating to low and zero carbon alternatives.

**You will be actively involved in**
- Procuringelectroniccomponents and hardware
- Visiting suppliers, across the UK. Assessing and negotiatingwith suppliers.
- Looking at ways to automate buying
- Involved with the fulfilment operation, introducingOTIF systems.
- As we scale up, step up to a COO of Supply Chain.

**The successful Supply Chain Manager will demonstrate/have**:

- Be assertiveand relentless negotiatingskills. Pragmatic and Dynamic.
- An extensive background in global engineering supply chains
- Good experience forecasting and planning for supply chain demand
- An ability to build and manage partnerships within the supply chain network
- An appreciation of the importance of supply agreements with respect to working capital and warranty liability risks and incoterms
- Experience of BOM structures and how these are implemented within MRP systems
- A track record of delivering significant cost and efficiency savings without compromising on product quality or continuity of supply
- A willingness to visit manufacturing suppliers to evaluate quality, diligence stock hygiene and solve problems that arise from time to time
