Supply Chain Coordinator Contract

We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator on a 6 month contract to work with their CHP colleagues giving amazing customer service, meeting business objectives and providing an effective support service to all Operations teams.

**Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as the main point of contact with suppliers, Customer Resolution Centre, Operational Supervisors and trades teams, answering queries and maintaining presence on the Zeacom telephony system to meet business objectives.
- Liaise with Operational supervisors and trades teams to co-ordinate the purchase, issue and recording of van stocks, plant, tools and equipment, arrange transfer of material costs for cancelled/completed jobs.
- Process and record purchase order requests on CHP systems and dispatch orders to suppliers to enable ‘just in time' delivery of materials and equipment.
- Prepare and process invoices, both paper and electronically, within deadlines and in accordance with CHP procedures and standing orders, liaising with colleagues and suppliers to ensure coding information is correct and invoices match spend commitment.
- Use Outlook and the DRS scheduling system to effectively co-ordinate the activity of Drivers in delivering materials and clearing waste from site.
**What we are looking for**
**Experience, knowledge and skills**
- Experience with raising purchase orders, invoicing and standing orders.
- High level of computer literacy including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and Outlook)and previous use of stores systems.
- Experience of analysing and managing data.
- Experience of E-trading.
- Ability to interpret, analyse and manage prices and purchasing information.
