**Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage a busy switchboard, directing calls to the appropriate individuals and departments.
- Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and messages promptly and efficiently.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences for clients and staff.
- Maintain the reception area's cleanliness and organisation, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Receive and sort incoming mail and packages, distributing them to the appropriate recipients.
- Coordinate with internal staff to ensure smooth client interactions and provide support as needed.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
- Maintain accurate records and databases for clients, contacts, and appointments.
- Handle client inquiries and provide general information about the firm's services.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and workflow within the practice.
- Adhere to professional standards of confidentiality and ethics.
- Stay updated on the firm's services, personnel, and events to provide accurate information to clients.
- Use various software and tools to manage appointments, communications, and documentation.
- Contribute to creating a positive and efficient working environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Receptionist in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in operating a busy switchboard, directing calls, and managing inquiries.
- Strong IT skills, including familiarity with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of client interactions.
- Professional demeanour and excellent customer service skills.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment is a plus.

**Salary**: £19,500.00-£21,000.00 per year
