Venari Finance are delighted to be supporting our key client in the Falkirk area to recruit their new Finance Assistant.

This is a great opportunity for an aspirant finance professional to join a growing and acquisitive business. The role will report directly into the Management Accountant and supports the Finance Director. This role would suit an individual keen to go through their finance qualification with financial support provided towards the qualification by the business.

This will be a wide ranging and varied role with great exposure across the senior leadership team. This would suit an invididual who has had exposure to costing in the past.

Role will include

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
- Provide effective account management by working closely with customer accounts and sales representatives
- Reconcile accounts as necessary to resolve disputed amounts. Work actively to reduce debt and provide updates to management as required
- Input cash receipts, and manual transactions into our ERP system
- Escalate accounts and assist with resolving issues
- Provide support to Finance, Operations, Sales, and other departments as required
- Other administrative and ad-hoc tasks as needed as part of effective receivables and credit management

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
- Manage the accounts payable inbox and organize all invoices, statements, and other relevant documentation of the group suppliers
- Create and maintain supplier accounts
- Code invoices to ledger accounts and match / input supplier invoices into ERP system
- Reconcile supplier statements and communicate with Suppliers and/or internal departments as necessary
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure all invoices are properly approved
- Prepare EFT payments and batch payments
- Support other Finance team members with the month-end close and other ad-hoc projects

ACCOUNTING AND AUDIT SUPPORT
Support the Management Accountant and Finance Director to ensure monthly financial records are completed in a timely, accurately manner. As well as ad hoc projects that may arise.

This role will best suit a motivated individual who can work independently and to tight deadlines whilst also demonstrating good communication skills, both oral and written.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
