**Property Snagging Inspector**

**Location**: Remote Working
- London/ Hertfordshire/ Essex and surrounding areas

**Job Type**: Part
- time/ self-employed.

**Job Overview**: The Property Snagging Inspector is responsible for conducting detailed inspections of new-build properties to identify and document any defects, incomplete works, or non-compliance with building standards. The role involves ensuring that properties meet the required standards of quality and safety before they are handed over to our trusted and valued clients. The inspector will work closely with construction teams, project managers, and clients to ensure all issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive inspections of new-build properties to identify defects, incomplete works, and non-compliance with building standards.
- Create detailed snagging lists and reports outlining any issues found during inspections.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain inspection findings and provide updates on rectification progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections and snagging activities.
- Assist in developing and improving snagging inspection checklists and procedures.
- Stay updated with industry standards, building regulations, and best practices in property snagging.
- Represent Intent Snagging standards and uphold our devalues as a company.
- Easy to work with, responsive, able to work well within a team, good communication skills, grammatically correct written and spoken English.

**Qualifications**:

- Building experience (at least 1-2 years).
- Previous experience as a professional snagging inspector preferred.
- RICS qualifications
- RPCA
- Must be able to travel/ own your own vehicle
- Must have a mobile phone.

Application process:
All applicants will have an initial first stage phone call, if the applicant is successful, you will be required to attend a face-to-face interview to discuss next stages.

**Salary-**
- Industry leading pay.
- Paid on a per job basis, however if we have bespoke contracts we will also pay extra.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Expected hours: 6 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
