An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our IT team at Bath & North East Somerset Council.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Applications Support Team Leader to lead our Applications Support team of 8 Technicians. Supporting a number of council wide large enterprise systems including Northgate, Uniform, Liquidlogic and a number of other critical regulatory council systems to provide a high quality and customer focused support service.

The varied role requires excellent organisational & communication skills along with the flair to motivate, coach and mentor staff to ensure our customers expectations are exceeded and service level commitments are met.

Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes walk away. We operate a flexible working policy here in Bath & North East Somerset with the option to work at other sites or at home; currently due to Covid 19 the majority of our staff are safely working at home.
