**About the role and the team**

As Youth Homeless Support Worker, you will act as the first point of contact for all young people, assessing their needs and risks, finding short and long term housing options, organising the logistics of each Nightstop placement and making sure that each Nightstop placement is safe.

Please note that this role is a busy and varied role that involves working with young people from when they approach the service to when they find longer term accommodation.

**About you**:
You will have excellent communication skills and be committed to the values and ethos of Depaul UK.
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.
- Experience of working with vulnerable people or people experiencing homeless.
- Understanding of current housing and homelessness legislation, including entitlement to welfare provision.
- Experience of writing, implementing and evaluating Risk Assessments.
