**We are looking to recruit a full time/permanent Traffic Co-Ordinator in our Traffic Office based in Wolverhampton. The position is 45 hours a week. The shift pattern comprises of 2 weeks of Monday to Friday, and 1 week Tuesday to Saturday. Working hours to be agreed.**

**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**:
To assist with all traffic operations at the Depot to include driver/vehicle allocation, re-routing where necessary whilst ensuring maximum earnings, excellent vehicle utilisation and making the best use of driver resources. Communicating with the drivers all day every day in order to manager their jobs/hours works.

To ensure that Mandata (TMS System) and all other IT systems are maintained and updated as required so the TMS system is consistently accurate.

To provide excellent customer service to all our customers and produce all necessary customer reports, KPI’s etc for all customers as required.

To undertake any other tasks as determined by operational requirements as and when required in order to ensure that the department runs smoothly.

**MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To route and plan all the Depot’s vehicles (Class 1 and also Class 2) to ensure that the Company’s fleet and associated resources are maximised and operating efficiently and cost effectively at all times.
- To deliver excellent customer service to all our clients and improve upon them on an ongoing basis including ensuring that customer KPI requirements are met.
- Ensure daily liaison is achieved with the Warehouse to ascertain delivery profiles.
- Assist colleagues in providing cover with other roles within the department as and when reasonably requested by your Supervisor or Manager.
- Involve yourself with team principles that continuously endeavour to achieve quality, improvement & high performance.
- Ensure the protection and good care of all the Company’s assets, equipment, materials and intellectual property and that there is no misappropriation of any by the job holder.
- Adhere to all Company policies & procedures relating to Health & Safety, Quality Control, Human Resources, operational etc.
- Undertake any other duties to the benefit of the Company as reasonably requested by your Supervisor/Manager.
