ACCOUNT HANDLER - JOB DECRIPTION

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced account handler to join our team.

Purpose
- Carry out general new business and existing Client servicing across Commercial and / or Personal and / or Specialist lines business
- Provide the highest quality of service and advice to new and existing Clients
- Support the Branch Manager and Directors in the servicing of their Clients
- Build the company Brand to attain a high standing and reputation in the local community

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting Branch Managers and Directors with marketing exercises, negotiating and securing renewals, processing policy endorsements and handing general client enquiries
- Deal with claims including liaison between clients and insurers as necessary
- Dealing with a portfolio of larger new business and existing business cases
- Preparing presentations for underwriters and clients
- Preparing risk reports for larger clients highlighting terms, conditions and limitations and include possible solutions for consideration
- Cross sell insurance related products
- Generate leads as required.
- Acquisition of new clients, including following up internet and online quote enquiries
- Retention of existing clients against set targets
- Creating and issuing existing and new business quotation documents and reports
- Liaise with underwriters to negotiate new business and renewals and the underwriting non-standard risks
- Manage daily tasks in accordance with established business process and procedures
- Complete tasks in accordance with any regulatory requirements
- Complete training tasks as requested by the Branch Manager/Directors

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£26,000.00 per year
