**What Will You Do**
- Develop and implement robust and effective processes, procedures and systems to support the operational effectiveness of Haulfryn in relation to procurement and contracting
- Conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality, run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors
- Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided
- Undertake value for money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements
- Proactively manage the relationship with new and existing suppliers
- Produce and maintain internal guidance documents and training on procurement and contract management where necessary
- Maintain an up to date contract register / files
- Work with Company Insurance broker too ensure all insurances are both adequate and up to date
- Work with the legal advisers, as appropriate, to agree updates to contract and purchasing documentation and to agree the implementation of regulation/legal changes
- Forecast price trends and their impact on activities
- Analyse data and produce reports and statistics on spending and saving

**What Will You Bring**
- Knowledge of English Contract Law and Government procurement regulations
- Experience of supplier and contract management including where services have been delivered through sub-contractors
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with team members and external parties
- Has the ability to handle and resolve all vendors/suppliers complaints and comments.
- Strongly analytical, with well-developed problem solving skills
- Well-developed negotiating skills
- Able to use Microsoft Office products proficiently, in particular MS Excel
