We are excited to be recruiting for an experienced HR and Recruitment Assistant to support one of our highly regarded local authority clients with a busy HR workload this Christmas - and beyond
The successful applicant will have some previous experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition at Assistant level. All applicants must have the required HR experience needed to be able to get involved straight away to support the wider business.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Process HR and Recruitment paperwork, contracts of employment, DBS checks, etc.
- Create interesting job adverts and detailed job descriptions
- Liaise with payroll department relating to HR matters
- Update and maintain employee data in line with confidentiality
- Work closely with wider HR admin team
**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience in HR, recruitment, or talent acquisition at Assistant level
- Understanding of HR policies and procedures to include confidentiality and GDPR
- Good organisation skills - particularly when working at home
- Ability to work well on own initiative but also support colleagues as a good team player
