As PMO and Business Operations Lead for our Scottish Business unit. You will be in charge of a growing support team who are responsible for all business operations. To enable delivery of a large portfolio of projects throughout Scotland and the wider UK

**As the PMO and Business Operations Lead your duties and responsibilities will be**:

- Leading teams of differing disciplines such as planning, business analysis, administration functions, document control, customer coordination and ICT to support the delivery of projects and programmes of work
- Report and reviews of information regarding the various Programmes of work
- Provides insight and analysis to support decision making in line with corporate objectives.
- Month end and annual reporting for the portfolio and business units against budgets, costs, forecasts, and scope, as well as feeding into quarterly budget forecasting.
- Resource capacity planning across the areas through liaison with department heads
- Assist with the development of a KPI reporting suite for the different functions
- Work with Delivery Teams to ensure benefits and outcomes are captured and accurately reported.
- Identifying process improvements and associated intervention points
- Identification of delays in the delivery programme both for clients externally and internally and the cause
- Understand and contribute towards business forecasts of regulatory financial and reputational performance commitments outlined in the frame agreed with the business leaders.
- Contribute to team improvement initiatives, work with colleagues to share and agree best practice and promote communication and commitment across teams.

Do you have good working knowledge of business management systems and legislation?

Can you demonstrate team leadership and board reporting experience?

Working knowledge of Scottish Water and other water company systems would be an advantage.

Do you have experience of manipulating datasets and working with databases

Understanding of the use of Power BI for reporting is desirable.

Do you have strong portfolio and team management skills?

Natural skills for making assessing and judgement?

Good analytical skills with the ability to influence?
