As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Placements Officer (titled internally as a Home Finding Officer) to join our dynamic team and contribute to our vision.

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Placements Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving referrals from local authorities for children to live in our supported accommodation and managing the administrative tasks associated with placements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive referrals from local authorities and assess the suitability of our supported accommodation for young people’s placement.
- Coordinate with local authorities and social workers to gather necessary information about the young people.
- Ensure that all placement paperwork is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations.
- Collate young people’s allowance details for payment and maintain accurate records.
- Raise and manage invoices related to placement fees and young people’s allowances.
- Monitor and track the progress of placement cases and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost care and professionalism.
- Work closely with the wider teams to ensure that the best interests of the young people are always the top priority.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within children’s services.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with young people.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation in children’s services.
- Hold a UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
