About Us
We need a highly self-motivated and customer focused person to work within our Technical Support Team within the Building Control Service. Based in Twickenham, the team provides administrative and technical support to professional Building Control Officers undertaking a wide range of Building Control duties. The successful Applicant will be part of a team that is the first point of contact for members of the public and others generally and particularly when Building Control Officers are not available.
**About the role**
**About you**
- You will have experience of working in a similar technical support role in an office environment with the ability to work effectively and efficiently to enable the service to operate and deliver excellent customer service.
- Volume of work across the team is very high leading to an extremely busy environment and the work is very varied; therefore you will need to be a willing learner, flexible and enjoy a challenge with a problem-solving approach.
- You will have the relevant IT skills in order to input and maintain the various databases used through the service and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with team members and customers.
