**_Why we need you _**

**Cancer Research UK is the world’s largest charity dedicated to beating all types of cancer. We now have an opportunity for you to join us as a Marketing Intern.
**_What will I be doing? _**

**In this role you will develop fundraising materials and support our marketing campaigns. This is an exciting role, joining a busy team and working across third party events such as the TCS London Marathon and Great North Run.**

**_Role and Purpose _**

**The Events and Sports Marketing team sits within our Marketing, Fundraising and Engagement (MFE) directorate.**

**As we start to get ready for events taking place in 2025, we’re looking for an intern to help us create impactful content and materials to support our marketing campaigns and supporter journeys.**

**As well as content and design input, you’ll also have the opportunity to help us to optimise our campaigns by analysing our activity, carrying out market research and making recommendations for how we can improve.**

**_Key Responsibilities: _**
- **Creation of fundraising and marketing materials and content for third party Sports events**:

- **Management of multiple stakeholders**:

- **Copy writing and design input**:

- **Competitor and market research**:

- **Analyse campaigns and make evidence-based recommendations**
