Job Title: Youth Mentor - Inspire and Empower the Next Generation

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have experience working with KS3 and KS4 students? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you

The Supply Room is currently seeking a qualified Youth Mentor to join a team in Derby City Centre. As a Youth Mentor, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to students in their personal, social, and educational development.

**Requirements**:

- Any relevant qualifications, with SEN qualifications being highly desirable
- 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably working with KS3 and KS4 students

**Responsibilities**:

- Build strong relationships with students, providing mentoring and guidance
- Assist students in developing problem-solving skills and positive coping strategies
- Support students in their academic progress, providing additional resources and tutoring if necessary
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to create individualized plans for students
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, documenting and reporting any concerns to the appropriate channels

Pay Rate: £81.76 per day

Contract: This is a full-time temporary contract, offering you the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and gain valuable experience in an educational setting.
