**The Role**:
Our Technical team work closely together in a busy environment, ensuring that all expectations are exceeded by providing the highest quality services to each event. We need an experienced AV technician, with a specialism in live audio, to help fulfil our vision of being the best event campus in Europe.

This position is vital to our commitment of delivering first class production experiences within the Conference and Exhibition Sector. Technical expertise and dedication is paramount as this job will be continually focussed on exceeding client expectations, providing services to a wide range of events, including conferences, concerts, corporate meetings, and more.

Duties will be spread across the various elements of AV delivery - video, lighting, and conference streaming services are all within remit. There will be a particular emphasis on live audio delivery and a focus on how to improve SEC performance in this area.

Key responsibilities include:
Working as an AV technician or Audio Engineer at allocated events.

The setup, operation, and maintenance of conference AV and audio equipment across various meeting spaces and auditoria.

Collaborating with clients, event organisers and production teams to understand their requirements and deliver accordingly.

Execute audio cues during live events, ensuring seamless transitions.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-the-spot solutions during events.

Assist with equipment inventory management and organisation.

Uphold safety protocols and adhere to health and safety regulations.

You will be required to fulfil 37 hours over a 7-day week. We have a competitive overtime rate for any additional work undertaken.

As a multi-disciplined technician or operative, who is comfortable behind a sound desk and delivering general AV requirements, principally in the Conference sector you should embrace our mission,

You should be hands-on, passionate, and flexible, skilled in multi-tasking, with a dedicated and enthusiastic attitude. Clear and concise communication skills are imperative as you display confidence while working with an array of clients in different event environments.

**Desirable Experience**:
Proven experience as a Sound Technician in live events, entertainment, or related fields.

Proficiency with digital consoles (Digico, Digidesign, Behringer x32).

Knowledge of sound theory, acoustics, audio formats, signal processing, etc

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environments.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.

A passion for Audio Visual technology and a creative mindset.

Understanding of rigging and electrical systems.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
A degree or diploma in sound engineering, audio technology, music production or a related field
