Accounts/admin Assistant

Accounts duties:
- Enter supplier invoices accurately and in accordance with company procedures and timescales
- Reconcile supplier statements, identify any errors and investigate/correct as necessary
- Respond to supplier enquiries
- Process invoice and statement run
- Chase overdue payments with customers
- Manage monthly credit card statements and reconcile receipts
- Process payment information on the company finance system
- Coordination of payroll information
- Support for month end and year end accounting process
- Day to day finance tasks such as chasing and processing timesheets, purchase invoices, expense claims, drafting sales invoices, recording annual leave etc
- Filing and various other administrative duties
General duties:
- Undertake routine administrative support procedures, such as filing, opening post etc
- Provide support to line manager and other members of the team as and when needed
- Work to specific deadlines in line with the month end process
- Maintain accurate records
- Assisting with Job scheduling of workforce
- Undertake any other tasks that may crop up appropriate to the position and situation
Skills required for the Financial Administrator
- Computer literate
- Confident and professional telephone manner, Good interpersonal skills
- Numerate and accurate, excellent attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise and plan effectively, the ability to work to deadlines
- Good team working skills, good problem solving
- Competent with Google Suite software is desirable
- Experience with Xero accounting software is essential
- Undertake any other tasks that may crop up appropriate to the position and situation

RELIABILITY IS CRUCIAL, AS PART OF A SMALL OFFICE TEAM
**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
