Purchase Ledger Clerk

TEMPORARY PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK

**Location**: Nelson, hybrid role

**Hours**: Mon - Fri (0900 - 1700) some flex around hours

**Salary**: up to £27K (depending on experience)

**Responsibilities**:
assisting with queries in purchase ledger reporting and payment issues

processing personal and company expenses

processing payments

authorising payments

investigating and resolving purchase ledger queries

filing, logging and maintaining invoices

monitoring petty cash

liaising with suppliers and service providers

maintaining the purchase ledger to ensure accuracy and completion

flagging to vendors and suppliers when payments may be late

updating vendor details and identifier codes

**Key Attributes**:

Great interpersonal and communications skills

Self discipline

Good team working skills

The ability to work to monthly deadlines

An aptitude for IT - knowledge of software packages like Excel, Sage and BACS
