Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an **Accounts Assistant**for a business based in Dudley. This business is well-established within their field, the role will report into the Finance Manager and require some independent working.

Key Responsibilities:

- Processing and coding of invoices onto Sage
- Upload invoices onto database
- Month end Purchase Ledger reconciliation
- Supplier statement reconciliation and preparation of payment runs
- Reconcile purchase orders with invoices, ensuring signatory authorisation
- Bank Reconciliations (Euro & GBP)
- CIS returns
- Raise monthly Sale Invoices
- Accruals, prepayments and other GL journals
- Assistant and support Head Office Accounts team as necessary
- Other as hoc tasks as required.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has previous Purchase Ledger experience and has the capability to work independently as well as in a team. Good Excel skills are required (VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables), previous experience using Sage would be beneficial.
