I am seeking an experienced individual to join my Dudley-based client as an Accounts Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work with a small, dedicated team within a market-leading business.

This role will involve full control of both sales & purchase ledgers, specifically:

  • Recording petty cash transactions & dealing with employee expenses
  • Processing purchase invoices and raising monthly payment runs
  • Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Control of the sales ledger, allocating payments correctly and dealing with queries
  • Maintaining accurate and uptodate customer/supplier records
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Ideally you will have:

  • AAT qualification
  • Proficiency in Sage & Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A mature attitude
