Cleaner - Manufacturing Junior Operative

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a diligent and reliable Cleaner - Junior Operative to join our expanding team. As a Cleaner - Junior Operative for the manufacturing area, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace for our manufacturing operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall efficiency and success of our growing facility.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitisation of manufacturing areas, including production floors, workstations, and equipment, to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly to maintain cleanliness and prevent debris accumulation.
- Clean and disinfect surfaces, machinery, and production tools to meet strict quality and safety standards.
- Empty waste and recycling bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies, ensuring availability for various cleaning tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with manufacturing team members and supervisors to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure mínimal disruption to production activities.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs for equipment or facilities to the appropriate department promptly.
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies related to cleanliness and hygiene in the manufacturing area.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to complete cleaning tasks in a timely manner.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and the ability to lift moderate weights as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and comply with company policies and procedures.
