**Job summary**:
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and experienced Research Project Officer to offer project support within the Data Research Team.

This role will contribute to the managerial, scientific, and patient-facing aspects of the Data Research portfolio. The Data Research Team is a dynamic group supporting all facets of research projects that leverage AI and health data to advance innovation and enhance care for our patients and communities.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
The team primarily operates from the QE site, with opportunities for cross-site working as needed.

**Essential**:
Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience gained through any combination of alternative study, employment, or voluntary work.

OR

Healthcare/Science based A levels plus evidence of continuing professional development to degree level.

Evidence of continuous professional development.

**Experience**:
**Essential**:
Understanding and experience of research lifecycle.

Understanding of research management systems.

Awareness of Principles of Data Protection and Good Clinical Practice.

Demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality.

Experience of working in a busy environment working independently and exercising judgement and decision-making skills.

Ability to write and evaluate simple reports.
