Here at GXO, we’re looking for a**n Area Operational Trainer** to support the Learning and Development Team in a mobile capacity across the nominated region(s), **Farnborough** being the central point for all sites covered, in the fulfillment of their role as well as the business in delivering nominated training sessions and driver assessment tasks.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, where you’ll be working Monday - Friday, between the hours of 07:00-16:00, with some flexibility required. You will have access to a company van to cover all company mileage, due to the nature of this role there may be occasional overnight stays required.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to **£35,000.00** per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Covering inductions to support the site as and when required, working with the site Operational Leaders to ensure training is provided, and is kept up to date, across all shifts
- Support Senior Driver / Buddy with delivery of SOP - Review use of weekly paperwork to ensure correct version of paperwork is being used and populated correctly. Educate colleagues as needed and escalate issues to the Learning & Development team, if needed
- Travel (Company vehicle provided & accommodation for overnight stays) in order to arrive at store locations at start of shift to ensure minimum operational impact
- Liaise with the training department and AOM to plan and deliver the annual SSOW training programme
- After appropriate training, support the delivery of D&A (drugs & alcohol) testing program across the business

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Professional Presentation Skills
- LGV Driver licence (Cat C) essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with Lorry Loader preferred however not essential
- Computer literate
