Role Overview

The Aerospace Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the production operations function within Tech Connect Group's Farnborough site. This role will drive business success by optimising manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and supporting efficient production within a dynamic aerospace environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage the production operations team to achieve business objectives.
  2. Develop and implement effective manufacturing processes and methods to meet quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness targets.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement tooling and fixtures that support production needs.
  4. Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement, enhance efficiency, and maintain quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Leadership and management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Background in aerospace manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and CAD software (e.g., Catia, SolidWorks).
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma, APQP/PPAP methodologies, and quality control tools.
Compensation Package:
  • Estimated salary: £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
