- The role- Main responsibilities- Collaborate with colleagues in the People Executive, and across the business, to embed diversity, equity and inclusion best practice.
- Work closely with the leadership team / Partnership, ensuring accountability at a senior level. This includes delivery against divisional action plans and the firm’s race equity and inclusion in best practice.
- Utilise data, measurement, employee feedback, and external benchmarking to meaningfully track progress against our commitments. Own the DE&I aspects of the firm’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and reporting.
- Research and implement new actions and activities that will further diversity, equity inclusion and wellbeing across the firm. Manage relationships with external specialists and organisations.
- Identify thought leadership, client, and supplier engagement opportunities; communicate our ambitions and progress internally and externally.
- Identify and address barriers to inclusion within our structures, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures which prioritise DE&I.
- Consult with members of employee-led inclusion networks and other internal stakeholders to maximise engagement and ensure a consistently inclusive employee experience.
- Develop ways to recognise inclusive behaviours and reward colleague contributions to the firm’s DE&I efforts.
- Continue to develop our firmwide approach to mental health and wellbeing
- This role has one direct report - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager
- Skills and qualifications- An advocate of the benefits of diversity in business.
- Able to build relationships quickly and lead / influence effectively - able to demonstrate significant impact through previous DE&I or equivalent roles.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic vision; demonstrated ability to translate data and other insights into meaningful actions.
- Highly motivated and able to demonstrate progress whilst managing multiple priorities.
- Insight into the dynamics of a Partnership culture and able to confidently facilitate change within that model.
- An approachable, collaborative, and flexible style, and excellent communication skills.
